Torbat_e Jam University of Medical Sciences is a state university which is located in Torbat_e Jam, Iran is affiliated to the ministry of health and medical education of Iran. The beginning of the activity of this educational center dates back to 1992, when as a nursing high school, it trained the human resources needed by hospitals. In 2011, based on the  vote issued in the 250th session of the Council for the Development of Medical Universities, dated 02/06/2011, a final agreement was reached with the establishment of the School of Nursing. And this college officially started its activities by accepting students through the national entrance exam in the fields of nursing and medical emergencies.On 09/01/2015, the Faculty of Nursing was upgraded to the Faculty of Medical Sciences and Health Services.
